This is evident when she decides to lump all of her work on the 1st seat and goes around trying food from all the stalls during the Moon Banquet Festival. I love her.Īs I said, Rindou is a very carefree character who would much rather be off having fun and eating food than having to follow through with her responsibilities as a member of the Elite Ten. The dark red hair, the carefree attitude, but with the ability to just flick the switch and flaunt her skills. A large part of my choice here, I won’t lie, comes from her design.
She is 2 years senior to our main cast of characters and she sits upon the prestigious 2nd seat of the Elite Ten Council. Now if that isn’t some serious waifu potential then I don’t know what is. By thinking of someone special when she cooks, Megumi can create food so nice that it can bring those who eat it to tears.
This all stems from her original inspiration to cook, that being her mother. She is constantly praised on her ability to make food that makes those who eat it feel warm and loved. Some of these features are well reflected in Megumi’s cooking as well, mainly her kindness. At the beginning of the series she is extremely timid, clumsy, and kind. Megumi is straight up adorable and that’s probably the best word I can think to describe her. Megumi is a member of the Polar Star Dormitory and one of the main heroines throughout the story. Food Wars is exactly that though, the field of battle is just in the kitchen. Sounds bizarre right? When most people think of Shounen, battle series immediately come to mind. For those unaware of the series, Food Wars is a Shounen series about cooking.
